Gartner Positions Business Objects in Leaders Quadrant of Data Quality Tools Report

Gartner, the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, recently positioned Business Objects in the leaders’ quadrant of their “Data Quality Tools Magic Quadrant” report. According to Gartner, “Leaders in the market demonstrate strength across a complete range of data quality functionality, including profiling, parsing, standardization, matching, validation and enrichment. They exhibit a clear understanding and vision of where the market is headed, including recognition of non-customer data quality issues and the delivery of enterprise-level data quality implementations. Leaders have an established market presence, significant size and a multinational presence (directly or as a result of a parent company).” The Magic Quadrant depicts Gartner’s analysis of how certain vendors measure against criteria for that marketplace, as defined by Gartner.

How To Use The Source Data Component in Crystal Xcelsius 4.0?

In Crystal Xcelsius 4.0, the Source Data Component is a feature that has no visual interface. It allows users to move data into other cells simply by changing the value of the component's Selected Index.

As the value of the Source Data component's Selected Index changes, the row or column of data corresponding to that index is inserted into the Insert In range.

Like all selectors, the Source Data Component is often used to populate components with data or in conjunction with Dynamic Visibility to show and hide components. This is only available in the Designer version.
